Katerina is a BASI Certified Comprehensive Pilates Instructor with a background as a professional dancer and extensive experience in teaching movement. Her approach is grounded in a deep understanding of body mechanics, shaped by years of dance training and somatic exploration. She has taught within higher education, embedding Pilates-based conditioning into degree-level dance programmes. Her teaching supports students in developing anatomical awareness, improving physical resilience and enhancing performance, with a strong focus on alignment and embodied practice. Katerina earned her Master of Arts with Distinction from London Contemporary Dance School. Alongside her teaching work, she has performed widely across the UK and Europe in a range of professional settings, bringing valuable insight from her stage experience into her movement practice. She has a particular interest in anatomy and continues to expand her expertise through professional development, including further training in Injuries and Pathologies. She draws on this knowledge to create thoughtful, effective sessions tailored to each client’s needs. Her teaching is precise, intuitive and grounded in a passion for intelligent movement.
